We rely on donations and we appreciate every single donation that comes our way. We know that you are inundated with donation requests and that you, like many people, are constantly searching for the best place to donate your valued resources. Our committment at One Sky is to ensure that your donations are directed toward the area of your choice. 

Generally speaking, you can donate in two ways.

You can make a general donation to One Sky to keep us going in which case we will acknowledge your donation and track it in a general donations account. These funds will be spent on all of the hard-to-fund, core operating costs of One Sky and we will be forever grateful to people like you who recognize that it takes money to keep an organization floating. Donate directly to a One Sky project - current fundraising campaigns:

The second way to donate is to earmark your donation for a particular project.  In this case, every single penny of your donation will go entirely to the project expenses. One Sky does not deduct administration fees, we do not pay fundraisers or third party expensive mailing programs and we track your donation to ensure it ends up where you intended. Just click on the widget to donate to the current fundraising campaign you would like to support!

In addition, if the project you are donating to is eligible your donation may be matched by CIDA at up to a 3-1 ratio.  In other words if you donate 100 dollars it allows us to leverage 300 dollars from the Canadian government.  You can track needed donations by clicking on the donations button for any One Sky project.  In addition some projects allow you to make individual donations for particular components of a project. 

So, for example, if you would like to buy shovels for a farmers group in Kono, you can buy the shovels.  It is a way of us ensuring that your dollars are well spent and go to where you wanted them to go. If you see a particular project on our website that you would like to support that is not one of our current fundraising campaigns, please email the project contact directly.

Note: if you are donating online, paypal automatically deducts an administration fee.

Send a cheque

Prefer snail mail? Send us a cheque indicating where you would like your donation to be applied. Mail to One Sky PO Box 3352, Smithers BC V0J 2N0 or simply drop it by the office. 

Monthly donations

You can also become a regular patron of One Sky by joining our monthly donations program. In this case you authorize your bank to pay us a monthly fee, which lightens the load for you and provides critical on-going support for us. Contact for more information.
